The City has two sets of development regulations—the Rowlett Development Code (RDC) and the Form-Based Code. Each applies to different parts of the City, and each contains regulations that classify land into different zoning districts, identify what uses are allowed, and establish regulations for how development looks such as minimum setback requirements, minimum lot width, maximum height, required parking and landscaping, and other elements of development.
